Benjamin Alfaro is a writer, educator, and organizer from Michigan.

His work has appeared in several journals and magazines, as well as in The Detroit Free Press, Detroit Public Television, WDET 101.9 FM, on the HBO Original Series: Brave New Voices, and in the anthology The BreakBeat Poets: New American Poetry in the Age of Hip-HopLearn more about his work, here.

He has spent the last decade working with InsideOut Literary Arts Project in Detroit where he currently serves as the Teen Program Specialist.
